As I said in the previous post, we have been working on completing the theme system for the editor so starting today Picozu has a brand new theme. The theme is called Galaxy and it only changes the color scheme of the editor, not affecting the layout. The current theme will remain the default theme of the editor but those of you who prefer a darker look can activate the new theme with just one click. You can find it in the Extensions – Themes menu. Check it out in the gallery below! Enjoy!

If you have a multi-layered image (.psd or .pzi) you can slice one of the layers directly and create a new image from it by selecting the desired layer and going to Layer – Image from Layer menu.

There are a lot of great things you can do with Picozu but today we’re going to show you some examples of how you can give your photos a lovely double exposure look in just a few easy steps. You only need two images, blending modes and filters. Play with the blending modes and some different filters to get the look that you are going for. You can use Screen or Overlay for the blending mode and try some of the filters in the Digital Effects category. You can of course upload your own curves for a more personal touch.

Browse through the gallery below to get an idea then go to the editor and make your own. Don’t forget to share them with your friends when you’re done using Picozu’s sharing options. Have fun!

Picozu has several educational plugin, today we’re presenting the Charts extension. This allows you to integrate various types of charts into your workspace. You will find the charts icon on the Toolbar but first you need to make sure that the plugin is enabled by going to the Extensions menu. The charts plugin allows you to adjust settings such as type, dataset, points per dataset and others. The charts popup window has tips for every option of the plugin. Hover over them if you don’t know how to use this plugin. The currently available charts types are: lines, bars, stacked bars, radars, polar areas, pies and doughnut. You can also choose the colors or simply click the random colors option. Also, you can apply the chart on a new image or an already uploaded one.

Install the plugin and start using it in your workspace for educational or work related issues. You’ll love it!
